In addition to providing support for programs identified by the Foundation’s Board of Directors and Advisory Council, the Community Grants program was established to support the many local organizations currently doing important work for the benefit of the residents of Muhlenberg County.

The Foundation sets aside funds for this competitive grants program annually.  501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, churches, public schools and government entities are invited to submit applications for new or expanded projects that address the educational, civic and cultural needs of the county.  Awards are determined based on applications submitted as well as interviews and site visits.

Grants are considered quarterly with final decisions this year made by June 30, 2022.

The 2021-2022 Deadlines for submission of grant applications are:

July 19, 2021

October 18, 2021
