Mackenzie Pogue is a native of Muhlenberg County. She is a graduate of both Madisonville Community College, and Murray State University. Mackenzie proudly serves her community through her career in Cooperative Extension through the University of Kentucky as the County Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development. Mackenzie is invested in the mission of Extension and the development of our future leaders. Mackenzie actively collaborates with our school system, businesses, individuals, and organizations to plan, develop and execute educational programming that impacts youth in Muhlenberg County. Locally, Mackenzie has devoted her time as a former board member of the Greater Muhlenberg County Chamber of Commerce, and current member of Bremen Elementary's Family Resource Center Advisory Council, Muhlenberg County Agricultural & Convention Center Advisory Committee, and a Muhlenberg County Long Term Disaster Recovery Committee member. Mackenzie is married to her high-school sweetheart, Alex, and they have two children, Hayes and Macklyn. The family spends their downtime together at the horse barn where they pass on their love for animals to their children. "I am eager to serve on the Felix E.
